This oyster basket measures 10 ½” tall x 7” bottom diameter x 10” top diameter.
The basket has two metal handles that move up and down.
The metal wire basket has an antique rusty looking finish.
These types of baskets were traditionally used for picking oysters and mussels on the French coast.
This rusty looking basket is made of a mesh of strong metal rods with two solid carrying handles on the sides.
This one bears the traces of weathering from years of use by the sea, rust, patina and marks of paint giving it lots of character.
This beautiful basket makes an original storage for magazines, toys and is very practical for storing firewood.

The contents of the basket are as follows:
1 – Large great scallop seashell measuring 4 ½” x 5”.
29- Small assorted white shells.
1 – Conch shell
10 – Brown snail shells
1 – Bag of Pier One Imports potpourri with pods, wicker ball orb, blue and cream potpourri with a wonderful Marine shoreline absolutely amazing scent.
This basket was used for display and is in excellent condition.
