Exceptional Handmade basket by Helen M. Springer. It has a maple base, rim and lid. it is signed on the base. She also notes that it is made of maple. At the widest point it measures about 10 and three-quarter inches. The rim from outside edge to outside edge measures just over 9 inches. The inside rim at the smallest measures approximately six and three-quarter inches. Overall height is approximately 7 3/4 inches tall. I do not see any broken wicker. There are some frays in the wicker but this is very typical. otherwise it is in excellent condition with no other noted defects.
